I offer beginner mountaineering courses: rope techniques, knot tying, glacier travel, crampon use, and basic self-arrest. Classes run 3–7 days in the Khumbu region or Langtang Valley. No prior experience required — groups max 6 people. Message me on WhatsApp to book.
Yes. Advanced courses cover: fixed-rope installation, vertical ice climbing, multi-pitch rescue systems, anchor construction, and high-altitude acclimatisation protocols. Ideal for guides-in-training, experienced trekkers targeting 6,000–8,000m peaks, or IFMGA pathway candidates.
Recommended pre-Everest pathway: (1) Mera Peak or Island Peak for altitude acclimatisation, (2) Ama Dablam expedition for technical glacier & ice skills, (3) 10-day fitness and oxygen-system training camp in Namche Bazaar. I guide all three stages.
Trekking: Everest Base Camp (14 days), Annapurna Circuit (18–21 days), Langtang Valley (7–10 days), Upper Mustang. Climbing: Island Peak (6,189 m), Mera Peak (6,476 m), Lobuche East (6,119 m), Ama Dablam (6,812 m). Best seasons: Oct–Nov and Mar–May.
Two prime seasons: Pre-monsoon (Mar–May) — main Everest & 8,000m season; Post-monsoon (Oct–Nov) — crystal-clear skies, ideal for technical peaks. Winter (Dec–Feb) possible on lower peaks. Monsoon (Jun–Sep) generally not recommended at altitude.
Beginner courses from USD 400–800. Trekking peaks (Island Peak, Mera) USD 1,200–2,500/person. 8,000m expeditions are custom-quoted. All packages include certified IFMGA guide, permit assistance, safety equipment, and acclimatisation planning. Message me on WhatsApp for a quote.
Yes. All climbing peaks require a permit from the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) or Department of Tourism. Trekking routes need TIMS cards and National Park entry fees. I handle all permit logistics in my guided packages.
